Lila Giri appointed Lumbini Province CM
By Chhabilal Pande, Butwal, Jan 11: Lumbini Province's CPN UML Parliamentary Party Leader Lila Giri has been elected as Chief Minister of the province.
As per Article 168 (2) of the constitution Province Chief Amik Sherchan appointed Lila Giri as CM of the Lumbini Province.
Giri has become the third CM of the Lumbini Province.
Before him, UML's Shankar Pokharel and CPN (Maoist Centre)'s Kul Prasad KC were the first and second CM respectively.
