Hetauda, Jan 10: Newly-appointed Chief Minister of Bagmati Province, Shalik Ram Jamkattel has decided to cut back the number of ministries in the province while taking charge of office today. He signed a paper to this connection while assuming office.
Chief Minister Jamkattel signed a decision on forming a task force under the coordination of the Chief Secretary at the Office of the Chief Minister, Mukunda Prasad Niraula, for reducing the number of ministries.
The task force will present its report within 15 days. In brief comments after assuming office, Chief Minister Jamkattel said a decision to cut back on the number of ministries in the province has been made to address the public concerns that the number of ministries in the province was comparatively high.
