Ninth concert of Nepathya concludes in Pokhara

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Dec. 29: Residents of Pokhara on Tuesday spectacularly welcomed the folk rock musical band Nepathya.The band that has been touring the country with a huge team for its 'Music for Humanity' campaign had their ninth performance in Pokhara on Tuesday.

The band started the performance with songs from the founding era along with videos that show glimpses of their journey over the past 32 years. Like other concerts, the band began the concert with the popular song Aanganai Bhari. 

Nepathya also performed their hits like Bheda Ko Oon Jasto, Chekyo, Lampate Surati, Chari Maryo, Jomsome Bazaar and Min Pachas Ma, Gaun Baat Utha .The musical band is collaborating with Manavsewa Ashram, a non-profit organisation.

After the concert in Pokhara, the 70-member Nepathya team left for Kathmandu on Wednesday in five trucks and two buses.The team is scheduled to hold a concert in Kathmandu on Saturday. The Kathmandu concert will be held at Bhrikutimandap.
