By Our Correspondent,Nepalgunj, Dec. 9: A petrol pump in Narainapur, one of the remote areas in Banke district, has come into operation for the first time. The flow of vehicles has increased in the area after the Narainapur road was blacktopped recently.
The postal road connecting Suiya Baghauda of Narainapur to Nepalgunj was black topped. The petrol pump was started to cater to the demand of passing vehicles for fuel.
Named Star Refueling Centre, the pump is located in Matehiya of Narainapur Rural Municipality-5. The operator of the pump, Rizwan Ahmad Khan, said that earlier, consumers had to go to Nepalgunj or India to refill their tank with fuel, but now they could get it at the pump.
Mohammad Nasim, a farmer from Narainapur-4, informed that from now on, it would be easy for farmers to purchase fuel for their farming equipment. He added, “Narainapur has been transformed after electricity and road reached here and now, the number of vehicles might increase due to easy availability of fuel.”
Khan, the owner, informed that since the dispensing machine equipped with digital technology had been installed in the pump, the consumer could easily know the quantity, total price and price per litre while refilling. Stating that there had been a growing demand of petrol pump in the area, he said that the pump would cater to that demand.
