Kathmandu, Dec. 7: The government has decided to accept grant assistance
amounting to over five billion rupees from Norway and Finland.
A meeting
of the Council of Ministers held on Tuesday made a decision to this effect.
Making public
the Cabinet decision through a press meeting on Wednesday, government spokesperson
and Minister for Communication and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur
Karki said the assistance provided by Finland and Norway was for School Sector
Development Project (SSDP).
Similarly,
the government has decided to appoint Jitendra Dhital to the post of
administrator of the Employee Provident Fund.
Likewise,
the government has decided to appoint officials to initiative processes for land
acquisition for Kimathanka Arun Hydropower Project and Dhopvadi-Mirghauli 132
KV transmission line.
