UML Chair Oli takes lead in vote count
Ballot papers being poured from boxes for counting.

Prasad Pokharel, Damak, Nov. 21: CPN (UML) candidate for the House of
Representatives (HoR) from Jhapa-5, KP Sharma Oli, who is also the UML
Chairman, has taken lead in the preliminary vote count of the HoR poll held on
November 20.
Oli has taken
lead with 3,212 votes while his nearest rival, Khagendra Panda of Nepali
Congress is following him with 1,523 votes so far.
So far,
some 6,000 votes have been counted.
The vote
count is going.
