PM Deuba taking lead with 239 votes when 500 counted

By Pushkar Bhandari, Dadeldhura, Nov. 21: A common candidate of the left-democratic alliance Sher Bahadur Deuba, Prime Minister and also Nepali Congress president, has taken lead in the preliminary vote count of the election held on November 20 for the member of the House of Representatives (HoR).

PM Deuba is contesting from the Dadeldhura constituency.

Leader Deuba has taken lead with 239 votes in the count of 500 votes.

Similarly, Karna Bahadur Mall Nepali of Nepali Conges BP has secured 141 votes while independent candidate Sagar Dhakal has got 97 votes so far, according to chief election officer Bal Krishna Wagle.

 Out of 91,201 voters in Dadeldhura, 51,660 have cast their votes in the HoR poll.
