Vote count kicks off in Tanahu

Tanahu, Nov 21: The vote count has begun in Tanahu constituency 2.     

Similarly, preparations were underway to count votes in constituency 1, according to the district returning officer Hari Prasad Dhakal. Of the total 248,495 registered voters in Tanahu district (123,490 in constituency 1, and 125,005 in constituency 2), the total voter turnout was 55 per cent.     

Similarly, constituency 1 saw 54.36 per cent and constituency 2 recorded 54.62 per cent voter turnout.     

The total 57 candidates under both the House of Representatives and the Province Assembly ran from the district having a total of 10 local levels (six rural municipalities and four municipalities). (RSS)
