I'm happy, election has been held: PM Deuba

By Pushkar Bhandari, Dadeldhura, Nov. 20: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has expressed happiness over the conduction of the election on the fixed date today.

The PM expressed his happiness after casting his vote in Asigram Mavi polling station in Ganyapdhura Rural Municipality-1 while referring to the rumour spread by some that the election would not be held.

The PM observed that the Left-Democratic Alliance (LDA) government safeguarded democracy and the constitution by holding the poll on the date as determined.

Talking briefing to the media after casting his vote, the PM said that the door for prosperity has been opened in the country with the conduction of the election.

PM Deuba left Dadeldhura for Kathmandu after casting vote here, according to Bhanu Deuba, the PM’s personal secretary.
