Shooting of Gulabi concludes

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Nov. 15: Shooting of Gulabi, a film by  Samundra Bhatta, has been concluded.   The film was shot in Pokhara, Kathmandu and Dhampus.

Filmmaker Bhatta informed that the shooting of the film completed in 32 days after shooting its last scene at Thamel, Kathmandu, on Sunday.

 Bhatta, however, said that a song of the film would be shot later. Najir Husen is the main actor in Gulabi, which narrates a story of transsexuality.

Sushil Sitaula, Sanchita Luitel, Raja Ghosh, Bishal Pahari, Anupam Shrestha and Shishir Rana are other actors of the film.  The screenplay and dialogues of the film have been written jointly  by Ramkumar Shrestha and Najir Husen.

Alok Shukla has directed the cinematography of the movie produced under the banner of The Sky Ocean Entertainment.

 Bhatt informed the post-production work of the film would begin this week. The production team is targeting to release the film in March next year.
