Dhorpatan permits Eight Himalayan Blue Sheep, Five Himalayan Tahr to hunt

By Nabin Sishir BK, Baglung, Oct.13: The hunting tourism of this year has commenced in the Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve. With this, tourists along with Nepali assistants are reaching the hunting block of the Dhorpatan. 

Dipendra Prasad Kandel, Chief Conservation Officer of the reserve said that hunting of eight Himalayan Blue Sheeps and five Himalayan Tahr is permitted this year for the months of October and November.


Every year reserve permits to hunt 20 Himalayan Blue Sheeps and 11 Himalayan Tahr in two seasons. 

American, Mexican and Canadian nationalists are permitted to hunt in the first session of this year from Nepal travel expedition, global safaris Nepal, Himalayan Safaris, and Tpax and Tells company.
