Six polling stations in Tanahun regarded highly sensitive

Tanahun, Oct. 11: Six polling stations have been identified as highly sensitive in Tanahun district during the upcoming general elections slated for November 20.

The District Election Security Coordination Committee has identified six polling stations as highly sensitive after a field monitoring.

The Committee has categorised each polling station in the district as general, sensitive and highly sensitive one.  There are altogether 142 polling stations in the district.

 Of them, 52 have been placed in the sensitive zone and 82 in general zone, according to CDO and coordinator of the Committee Bishwo Prakash Aryal.   The Committee has categorised the polling stations based under the past election-related incidents, competitiveness among the political parties and geographical structure of the region.
