Partly to generally cloudy weather likely across the country

Kathmandu, Sept 6 : Weather across the country is likely to remain partly to generally cloudy throughout the day today with the possibility of light to moderate rainfall at many places of the country, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.    

The Department said that there is a chance of partly to generally cloudy weather in some places of Province No. 1, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, and slight rain along with thunder in some places of other provinces.    

Currently, the low-pressure line of the monsoon is towards the north in the eastern region of the country while it is in the normal area in the western part.  

  
Likewise, weather across the nation will remain partly to generally cloudy with the chance of light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms and lightning at one or two places of Province 1, Madhes, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces tonight.    

As per the latest details of the Meteorological Forecasting Division, today's minimum temperature of the Kathmandu Valley is recorded at 20.2 degree Celsius and the maximum temperature at 30.2 degrees Celsius. (RSS)
