Cinematographer Pandey passes away

Kathmandu, Aug 11 : Bidur Pandey, cinematographer of the first digital Nepali film Kagbeni, died of a heart attack at Gangalal Hospital here on Tuesday. He was 55.

Pandey, who had worked in television and music videos for a long time, was recently busy with film shooting. He has shot over a dozen music videos, TV commercials, documentaries, and movies.

 Kagbeni, Pandit Bajeko Lauro, Bhuimanche, Jung Bahadurko  Koat, Mero Best Friend and Swor are some his films.

He was cremated at Pashupati Aryaghat on Wednesday. 

Several actors, producers, and directors had reached Aryaghat to pay tribute to Pandey.
