Swadesh Sedhai memorial day observed

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, July 31: The third memorial assembly of late Swadesh Sedhai has been held organising different activities including the launch of a documentary about the life of late Swadesh Sedhai.

A musical presentation was made by the Achyutram Bhandari Music Foundation in the memorial assembly.

Also, a piece of prayer music with Kishor Sedhai's lyrics and music was released during the programme hosted by the Swadesh Foundation Nepal on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion as the chief guest, Ganga Upreti, chancellor of Nepal Academy, expressed his expectation that the Foundation will work for making the youths aware of the ways to live a hygienic life by being free from mental illness.

Ganga Devi Upreti, Chairperson of the Foundation, urged the government to take monitoring measures before allowing the students to go for higher studies abroad, according to the press release of the Foundation.
