National Assembly approves Nepal Citizenship Bill

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, July 28: National Assembly has approved Nepal Citizenship Bill (first amendment) 2022. 

The second meeting of the National Assembly on Thursday passed the Bill unanimously. 

Earlier, Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand responded to the queries of the lawmakers raised during the discussion over the Bill. 

Earlier on July 22, the House of Representatives (HoR) endorsed an amendment to the Nepal citizenship, first amendment bill 2022, with a majority.
