National Assembly passes three bills

Kathmandu, July 28: The National Assembly today unanimously passed two bills along with an amendment. 


The bills passed by the upper house of the federal parliament are the Nepal Engineering Council (First Amendment) Bill, 2076 BS, and the Bill Related to Senior Citizens (First Amendment), 2075 BS.    


Both the bills were tabled in the National Assembly seeking their passage along with the approval of the amendment made to them by the House of Representatives.   

 
Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Mohammad Ishtiyak Rai presented the Nepal Engineering Council (First Amendment) Bill, 2076 BS, and Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizens, Uma Regmi the Bill Related to Senior Citizens (First Amendment), 2075 BS before the Assembly.    


Similarly, the National Assembly unanimously passed the Bill Related to Oath of Office, 2079 BS.    


Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand, on the behalf of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, presented a proposal in the meeting seeking the upper house to pass the Bill Related to Oath of Office, 2079 BS. (RSS)
