177 new cases, 41 recoveries in past 24 hrs

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, July 12: As many as 177 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the country in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 144 people tested positive for the novel coronavirus through the RT-PCR test while 33 people were found infected with the same virus in the antigen test.

1805 RT-PCR tests were conducted in the past 24 hours and the number of antigen tests was 1321.

Meanwhile, 41 people got over the virus infection, according to the MoHP.

64,907 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 in the same period.

No COVID-19 related fatality was recorded in the past 24 hours, according to the MoHP update.
