Home Minister directs to arrange treatment of injured

Kathmandu, July 8: Home Minister Balkrishna Khand has directed the authority concerned to not leave any stone unturned towards providing treatment to the injured of tractor accident that occurred at Chainpur municipality-10, Dumkata in Sankhuwasabha. 

Minister Khand directed Home Secretary Tek Narayan Pandey, Ministry's law and order division chief Fanindramani Pokharel, Chief District Officer of Sankhuwasabha Nurahari Khatiwada and other security officials to swiftly arrange treatment to the injured. 

CDO Khatiwada shared two persons died and 31 others were injured in an accident of a tractor (Ko 2 Ta 3961) carrying funeral attendees. The tractor met with the accident at Chainpur-10, Dumkata along the Khandbari-Leguwa road section. 

Eight among the injured are said to be in critical condition, he shared. Six critically injured persons were taken to Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences for further treatment after preliminary treatment at a local hospital, he added. 

Two seriously injured are undergoing treatment at District Hospital Khandbari. 

The deceased have been identified as Ganga Bahadur Tamang, 24, of Chainpur municipality-10 and Keshab Karki, 46, of Chainpur municipality-9. Police took control Mohan Kumar Tamang, 34, of Chainpur municipality-10.  (RSS)
