Dubbing works of Meelan completes

By A Staff Reporter  Kathmandu, July 5: Dubbing of Meelan, which is scheduled to be released in the first week of Nepali month Kartik (third week of October), has been concluded.   

The production team has stated that the entire dubbing work of the film, which was shot six months ago, has been completed.  Kushal Shah Thakuri, Salon Basnet, Shilpa Thapa, Shishir Bangdel, Bishal Pahadi, Januka Poudel (Pyakuli) do the lead roles in the movie.

 Meelan, a movie based on a love story, will feature a triangular love story of Kushal, Salon and Shilpa, said the director of the movie, Tek Paurkhi Rai.  Earlier, director Rai had directed two films Matti Mala and Maya Pirim.

 Director Rai is also writing the film. Main actors of the movie Kushal Shah Thakuri and Shilpa Thapa are making their debut from this film. 

 Shilpa known as a TikTok star has millions of followers in TikTok and Instagram.  

Kavi Raj Gahatraj has directed the choreography while singers Pratap Das, Kausal Khadka, Krishna KC, Prabisha Adhikari, Asmita Adhikari and Babina Kirati have lent their voices in the songs of the film. 

Shot in Kathmandu and Kalinchok, the film is produced by Prabin Thapa. 

The film is directed by Rahul Rai and edited by Tara Kimbe Thapa.

 The post-production of the film is done by Classic Cinema.
