Maoist CC meeting: members ask leadership to end groupism, anarchism

blog

Kathmandu, July 4: Central committee members of the CPN (Maoist Centre) have suggested the party leadership to end groupism and anarchism taking place in the party.

Putting forth their views on the political report presented by party Chairperson, Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' in the second day meeting of the central committee taking place in Kathmandu, the central committee members stressed on the need of electing party's office-bearers immediately, launching a special campaign with a clear point why the party became weak in urban areas and determining clear roadmap to run the party.

Similarly, mobilizing party committee under leadership of central committee member in all 753 local units to improve the organisational condition of party and moving ahead standing at its own rather than forming alliance were also stressed.

The members pointed out the need of taking action against those betraying the party in recently held local-level election, adding the party would face more loss if action against those betraying the party is not taken.

Chairman Prachanda had presented a 10-page political report in today's meeting. Nine proposals have been presented for discussion.

Though the CPN (Maoist Centre) became honest while making electoral alliance in local-level election, the Nepali Congress carried out activities only for its benefit, the central committee members said while drawing the attention of the leadership to think over it in coming days. (RSS)
