Lawmakers demand amendment to laws to ensure justice to victims

Kathmandu, June 6 (RSS): Lawmakers have demanded timely
amendments to laws so as to ensure justice for victims and action against the
perpetrators.
They were attending a deliberation
on the proposal to consider the Bill to Amend Some Acts against Sexual
Violence, 2022 in today's session of the House of Representatives.
On the occasion, Amrita Thapa
suggested that laws should be made considering their long-term impact while
Durga Paudel expressed her concerns about increasing incidents of sexual
violence. She suggested awareness against such incidents.
