Mother dead, son injured as bus hits scooter

Raj Naharki, Tanahu, May 24: A person has been killed while another was injured
when a passenger bus hit a scooter at Tallo Gunadi, Vyas Municipality-5,
Tuesday morning.
The bus
with registration no Na 4 Kha 8445 was heading to Damauli from Pokhara when it hit
the scooter with registration no. 20 Pa 6336.
In the
accident, Pavitra Thapa, 40, of Bhimad Municipality-2 died while her son Sushir
Thapa, 20, sustained a serious injury, according to Yuva Raj Khatiwada, Deputy
Superintendent of Police (DSP) at the district police office.
The
police has arrested the driver of the bus and initiated an investigation into the case.
