Urdu ghazal Shaam Se Hi Dil released

By A Staff Reporter Kathmandu, May 24: Urdu ghazal Shaam Se Hi Dil sung by singer Suman Shekhar Manandhar has been made public from T- series.

T-Series is a popular Indian music recording and film production company. The song was released from the official channel of the T-series on Sunday.

The song features Sunil Thapa, Nirjan Thapa and Dharana Sharma.

The team involved in composing of the song said that the song, which was mainly shot in Mugu’s Rara area, was expected to attract Hindi and Urdu speaking tourists to Nepal.

 Lyricist and composer Imtiyaz Wafa expressed his hope that the song would benefit Nepali tourism.

Similarly, singer Suman Shekhar said that the song was composed with the intention of attracting millions of Hindi and Urdu speaking people of the Indian subcontinent to Nepal. 

Singer Manandhar, who once lived in Pakistan to study, said that he became interested in Urdu Ghazals and Shayari and realised his dream to sing a Ghazal after a long time. “It took us three years to compose this song. We expect this song to at least increase the number of viewers who come to see Rara Lake, said singer Manadhar.

Director Janakdeep Parajuli said that this was probably the first time that a Nepali artist and technician has created something for the T-Series channel and hoped that it would pave the way for establishing Nepali music and artists in India.

It is a matter of pride that the work done by Nepali technicians and artists has been made public through one of the prestigious companies in India like T-Series. At the same time, we want the song to benefit tourism in some way, said Parajuli. The song is composed by Sanjiv Pandey and its executive producer is Rajendra Ghimire. The video of the song was shot by Arjun Tiwari.
