CPN (Maoist Center) candidate elected Chair of Sinja RM, Jumla

Jumla, May 17 (RSS): Purna Prasad Dhital of CPN (Maoist Center) has been elected the chair of Sinja rural municipality of Jumla. Dhital won the seat with 1,949 votes by defeating his closest rival Nandaram Budha of the Nepali Congress who received 1,831 votes.

Similarly, Shitala Rokaya of the same party was elected the vice-chairperson of the rural municipality. She received 1,956 votes while her closest rival was Rajkala Shahi of the Nepali Congress, who garnered 1,068 votes, according to the Office of the Returning Officer.
