Janardan Sharma presented a proposal for 'discussion over principles and
priorities of the Appropriation Bill (tax proposal excluded) 2022/023' at the
meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) today.
Speaker Agni Sapkota said that the discussion over the
principles and priorities of the appropriation bill 2022/023 will be held at
the meeting of the HoR on May 18 and 19.
Meanwhile, as many as eight ordinances have been
presented in the meeting of the HoR today.
Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand presented three
ordinances, Minister for Health and Population presented two ordinances,
Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Renu Kumari Yadav presented
an ordinance, and Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Govind Prasad
Sharma presented 2 ordinances.
Similarly, a lawmaker from Nepali Congress, Pushpa
Bhusal (Gautam) presented a proposal to suspend Rule 142 (4) of the HoR
regulation 2075. The HoR endorsed the proposal with a majority after Speaker Agni
Prasad Sapkota tabled it for the decision.
The next meeting of the HoR is called for 1 pm on
Wednesday.
