UML's Nepali reelected mayor in Dhorpatan Municipality

By Nabin Sishir BK, Baglung, May 17: Dev Kumar Nepali candidate of CPN (UML) has been appointed Mayor of Dhorpatan Municipality, Baglung for the second time.

Nepali received 5,735 votes while his opponent, Chandra Aryal of CPN (Maoist Center) received 5, 135 votes.

Similarly, Dhan Bahadur Kayat, a candidate of the five-party alliance, emerged victorious for the post of deputy mayor. He defeated Rashtriya Janamorcha candidate Tara Kumari Pun. Kayat received 5,650 votes while Pun received 4,484 votes.
