CPN (Maoist Center) candidate Pokharel elected Chair of Dhurkot RM, Gulmi

Center) candidate Bhupal Pokharel has been elected the Chairperson of Dhurkot
Rural Municipality in Gulmi district.
Pokharel got elected with 6,089 votes whereas his
nearest rival, Nepali Congress candidate, Mahendra Bhandari got 4,261 votes,
according to Muna Paudel, the returning officer.
Pokharel has been elected for the second term.
Similarly, Sita Giri has been elected the
vice-chairperson of the rural municipality securing 6,001 votes against her nearest
rival Chandra Bahadur Sunar who got 3,488 votes.
