UML's Shrestha elected Ward Chair in Tarakeshwor Municipality-4

Online, Kathmandu, May 16: Narendra Das Shrestha of CPN (UML) has been elected
the Chair of Tarakeshwor Municipality Ward no. 4.
Shrestha secured 787 votes against his
nearest rival who got 650 votes.
Bindu Sapkota has been elected under the woman member category, Aasiya Bishowkarma under the Dalit woman member category, and
Arjun Ghimire and Shrikrishna Maharjan got elected as members under the open
category. All the elected members were UML candidates.
According to the final result of the
vote count for the post of Ward Chair, NC secured 650 votes, CPN (Maoist
Center) 314, CPN (Unified Socialist) 77, and Rastriya Prajatantra Party 21
votes.
