EC officials call on President Bhandari

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 4: Officer bearers of the Election Commission (EC), Nepal held a meeting with President Bidya Devi Bhandari today.

At the meeting held at the Office of the President, the Head of the State had enquired the EC officials about the local level election slated for May 13.

During the meeting, chief election commissioner Dinesh Kumar Thapaliya briefed the President about the preparations made for the elections following the finalizing and approving of the election schedule on February 8.

On the occasion, President Bhandari remarked that the EC preparations for the poll were satisfactory and that the EC was capable enough to hold the poll in a fair, free, and impartial manner, according to the statement issued by the EC.
