Communication and Information Technology Minister Prithvi Subba Gurung has said that Nepal is lagging behind Nepal in the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Speaking at the meeting of the Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee on Monday Minister Gurung said that the current government built a policy to operate AI since there was no policy to use AI earlier.

Speaking at a "National Workshop on Enhancing Access to Public Transport for People with Disabilities," organized by the National Association of the Physically Disabled, the Minister highlighted the Ministry's commitment to building inclusive and safe infrastructure for all. "The government is working to prevent disabilities caused by road accidents," he said, stressing the importance of collective efforts to improve road safety.
