National identity card is basis of good governance: Communications Minister Gurung
According to Minister Gurung, the government considers the national identity card as the main basis for banking transactions, passports and goods. "The National Identity Card is modern and reliable as it is high-tech. A lot of work is done through it. Since it runs on a biometric system, it cannot be stolen. We consider it as basis even when it is used in the civilian app," said Minister Gurung.
