Revenue of Rs 124 billion raised in nine months
According to The Birgunj Customs Office, Rs 12.15 billion was collected in July (Shrawan), Rs 13.42 billion in August (Bhadau), Rs 13.47 billion in September (Asoj), Rs 11.10 billion in October (Kartik), Rs 14.40 billion in November (Mangsir), Rs 15.47 billion in December (Poush) and Rs 14.44 billion in January (Magh).

With the revision in rates, petrol price has been fixed at Rs 157.50 per liter for the first category, Rs 159 for the second category and Rs 160 per liter for the third category. The price of diesel and kerosene has been fixed at Rs 143.50 for the first category, Rs 145 for the second category and Rs 146 for the third category.
