Classification of Gen Z movement injuries in progress
The government has accelerated the classification of individuals injured during the Gen-Z demonstrations that took place on September 8 and 9. The Home Ministry has indicated that this classification process has been hastened following the procedure approved by the Council of Ministers on December 8, aimed at providing support for livelihoods and financial assistance based on the condition and severity of disabilities of those injured in the Gen-Z protests.

496 small and cottage industries registered in five months
Up to the end of Mangsir (Mid-December) in the current fiscal year 2082/83, 496 new small and cottage industries have been registered in the district. According to Janaki Bhattarai, Information Officer at the Industry Office, Jhapa, during this period, 243 firms were registered under industry and 253 under commerce. During the same period, 500 industrial and 479 commercial industries in the district were renewed, she informed.
