Jhapa, April 2: Birtamod in Jhapa district is set to host the Koshi-Bengal Cultural and Tourism Festival on April 7–8. The event aims to promote the cultural and tourism heritage and potential of Koshi Province and India’s West Bengal state.According to the District Tourism Office, Jhapa, the event will be held at Birtamod City Centre and will feature 18 stalls from Nepal and 12 from India. These stalls will showcase local cuisine, handicrafts, tourism packages, and related services. Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy the food items displayed during the festival.Tourism entrepreneur Indira Shrestha is the coordinator of the Koshi-Bengal Cultural and Tourism Festival Organising Committee.
