Kathmandu, April 1: The Election Commission is to begin registration and updating of voters' list from coming April 5.
The EC had postponed it from November 22, 2025 after the announcement of the date for election to the House of Representatives, 2082.
Joint-Secretary and Spokesperson of the EC, Narayan Prasad Bhattarai shared that an arrangement has been made where national identity card holder Nepali citizens can register their names online to voters' list.
Similarly, in case of the Nepali citizens who have not obtained national id, they are required to appear at province or district election office for biometric details after filling up the EC's online form in order to register their names in the voter list.
Likewise, activities like correcting mistakes in voter list, updating the details of death and migration, removing name registered twice in the voter list could be done through online, reads a press release issued today by EC.(RSS)
