During a discussion held on Wednesday evening with stakeholders at the Tatopani Customs Office about border management and the road leading to the Miteri Bridge, Chinese Ambassador Chen said that both countries can build roads together. He also shared that Chinese technicians will come to study the location of the landslide and other facets of the road. On the occasion, MP from Sindhupalchok, Madhav Sapkota, shared that 1.2 billion rupees has been allocated for the upgrading of the road and proposed that both countries should work together on it. Head of Road Division Office, Dolakha, Arjun Shrestha, presented a detailed project report of road upgrading work prepared by Nepal. Advisor to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs, Dr Rupak Sapkota, Chair of Bhotekoshi Rural Municipality Pasangnorbu Sherpa, local people's representatives, political parties, the Chief District Officer, the Chief of Security Agency, the Chief of Customs Office, Division Road Office staff were present in the discussion.
