Minister Dr Rana holds telephonic conversation with Egyptian counterpart for Bipin Joshi's release
A few days ago, Dr Rana had separate telephonic conversations with Qatar's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi, and Israel's Minister of Foreign Affairs Gideon Sa'ar, requesting similar assistance. Khulaifi is the chief negotiator and mediator in the peace talks.

Third accused in assault on advocate Tripathi arrested
One more person has been arrested in connection with the assault on senior advocate Dinesh Kumar Tripathi. The arrested is Sita Devi Rai aka Sheetal, 55, from Buddha Shanti rural municipality-4 in Jhapa. The arrest was made on Monday by the District Police Range, Kathmandu.
