Calibration testing at Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) severely affected the scheduled domestic and international flights on Thursday. According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), an aircraft from Thailand’s AEROTHAI company was flown from 11 am to 1 pm as part of the calibration. The flight was necessary to test the airport’s communication, navigation and surveillance equipment.

The Lumbini Buddhist University (LBU) has unveiled its strategic plan titled ‘Vision 2030+’.
