Hotel entrepreneurs contribute to economic development: General Secretary Ghimire

Kathmandu, April 19: General Secretary of the Nepali Congress, Gururaj Ghimire, has said hotel entrepreneurs have significant roles in boosting nation's economy.     

At a programme organized by the Nepal Democratic Hotel Entrepreneurs' Association today, General Secretary Ghimire viewed it was essential to support hotel entrepreneurs for thriving business. Every political leader and cadre needs running business to manage livelihood well, according to him.     

He also sought cooperation from the Association to link party leaders and cadres with entrepreneurship. The General Secretary reminded the party leaders and cadres to ensure more number of victories in coming local and provincial elections. He also shared that the party was for lateral entry to party organization to pick capable persons.     

Joint General Secretary and former Chief Minister of Bagmati Province, Bahadur Singh Lama, also appreciated the role hotel entrepreneurs have played in boosting business and economy. In absence of business, politics and social service are impossible, he added.
