NA session: annual report presented, condolence motion passed

Kathmandu, April 6: An annual report of the Indigenous Nationalities Commission for the fiscal year, 2025/26 has been presented before the National Assembly. 

Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Sobita Gautam, on behalf of Prime Minister Balendra Shah, presented the document before the upper house of federal parliament.   

Similarly, the meeting also endorsed a condolence motion over the demise of the NA former member Ramchandra Bhattarai. The proposal tabled by NA Chair Narayan Prasad Dahal was endorsed by the meeting unanimously. 

Bhattarai, a communist party leader, had passed away on January 27 at the age of 84. The meeting also observed a minute of silence over the demise of Bhattarai. 

The NA shall meet again at 1:15 pm on April 8. (RSS)
