Aryal elected Speaker of HoR, Senior MP KC congratulates newly-elected Speaker

Kathmandu, April 5: The senior-most member of the House of Representatives (HoR), Arjun Narsingh KC, has congratulated the newly-elected Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal and wished him a successful term.

Lawmaker Aryal of the ruling party, Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), was elected to the post of Speaker of the HoR, the lower house of the Federal Parliament, today.

After the statement by those who proposed and seconded Aryal's candidacy in the meeting,  Senior-most MP KC, who was presiding over the meeting, declared that Aryal has been elected unopposed to the post of Speaker. 

The House of Representatives will next meet at 1.00pm on Monday, the 6th of April. (RSS)
