Child killed in accident
Chitwan, April 5: A child has died after being hit by a bus that was reportedly being driven by the driver's assistant.
The deceased has been identified as 10-year-old Ires Ghosle, a resident of India and currently living at Nagarban Road, Bharatpur Metropolitan City-3.
Assistant driver of the bus (Ba.Pra. 06001 Kha 0492) hit the child while reversing it for parking last night. Ghosle, who was injured in the incident, died during treatment at Bharatpur Hospital.
The bus has been impounded while the assistant driver has been taken into custody for necessary action, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Rabindra Khanal of the District Police Office.(RSS)
