This government will speak through its work: RSP president Lamichhane

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, April 2: President of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), the ruling party, and a member of the House of Representatives (HoR), Rabi Lamichhane, has said that this government will speak through its work.

As the first speaker in the first meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR), Lamichhane said, "The prosperity of the country is the only aim of us all, and we will focus on that.  Change is the mandate of the people to the government."

Saying that the current government is focused on the solution rather than pointing out problems, he said, "We want to hear the problems of people. Mike will not be cut short when any member of parliament attempts to speak on the problem of the people."

President Lamichhane viewed that the present government was born out of the Gen Z protest. "We will make sure that there is change and development. We will ensure investment for the private sector."

Saying that the Dalit community has been left ashore even by the government, he said that justice, along with compensation, will be served by the government. He apologized to the victims as the majority party in the government. 

There will be access to education and employment for all. There will be zero tolerance against domestic and women's violence. Security of the aged people, and better utilization of the existing resources will be ensured," he said.
