PM attends first HoR meeting

By TRN Online, Kathmadnu, April 2: Prime Minister Balendra Shah (Balen) has attended the first meeting of the House of Representatives(HoR) today.

Following the House of Representatives election held on March 5, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) emerged as the largest party in Parliament with 182 seats.

The meeting of the House of Representatives under the Federal Parliament began on Thursday at the newly constructed multi-purpose building in Singha Durbar.

The session was held in the under-construction building after the Parliament building in New Baneshwor suffered damage in a fire incident on Bhadra 24, 2082.

The meeting began under the chairmanship of senior-most member Arjun Narsingha KC.

At the beginning of the session, senior member KC read out the contents of the letter received from the Office of the President regarding the convening of the session.
