TI Nepal appreciates govt initiatives for corruption control

Kathmandu, April 1: The Transparency International (TI) Nepal has appreciated the government initiatives for governance reform and corruption control.

Issuing a press release on Tuesday, TI Nepal said the agenda forwarded by the government was in line with people's aspiration and demand for reform. The governance reform plan has included almost all issues of good governance, it added.

Chairman of TI Nepal, Madan Krishna Sharma, mentioned that government had shown commitment to good governance through the reform agenda. He also expressed hope that the programmes would be carried out within timeframe.

TI Nepal is ready to cooperate with government by providing its expertise and experience, Sharma stated. (RSS)
