Six persons dead in separate incidents

Kathmandu, March 31: Six persons died in separate incidents occurred at different places of the country in the last 24 hours.

According to the Police Headquarters News Room, Kiran Pandey, 31, of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-32, died in a scooter accident at Ghyampedanda of Suryabinayak Municipality-8 in Bhaktapur.

Similarly, Dharmendra Sah, 23, of Aurahi Municipality-1 lost his life in a motorcycle accident at Gaushala Municipality-3 in Mahottari district.

Likewise, Tusar Khanal, 14, of Buddhabhumi Municipality-4 in Kapilvastu died due to drowning in the Gudarung rivulet while Kartik Mandal, 15, of Sahidnagar Municipality-6 in Dhanusha district drowned in a pond nearby his house, added the News Room.

In Darchula, two government employees died on the spot in a road accident at Sailyashikhar Municipality-4 of the district.  

The deceased have been identified as Engineer Manisha Chand and Senior Administrative Officer Bharat Bahadur Titara, according to the District Police Office, Darchula. Both of them were employees at the Water Resources and Irrigation Development Division Office, Darchula.  

The accident took place when the jeep they were travelling in was heading towards Gokuleshwor from Osil. They had gone to Osil from Kadapari for official work. 

Four others were injured in the accident and they are undergoing treatment at Gokuleshwor Hospital. (RSS)
