Kathmandu, March 25: The price of gold and silver has increased in the domestic market today. The price of the yellow metal has jumped up by Rs 14,600 per tola (11.66 grammes) while that of the silver by Rs 415 per tola.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of hallmark gold is set at Rs 288,500 per tola and the price of the same quantity of silver at Rs 4,920.
The price of hallmark gold was Rs 273,900 per tola and the price of the same quantity of silver was Rs 4,505 on Tuesday.
Likewise, the price of gold was Rs 275,500 per tola and the same quantity of silver was Rs 4,425 on Monday. On Sunday, the price of gold was Rs 282,000 per tola and the same quantity of silver was traded at Rs 4,540.
According to the international media, an ounce of gold is trading at 4,600 and the same amount of silver at 74 US dollars in the international market today. (RSS)
