Contractors directed for timely completion of Saptari roads

By Dhirendra Prasad Sah, Rajbiraj, Mar. 24: A monitoring and inspection initiative has been carried out at various locations in Saptari under the leadership of Chief District Officer Tuwaraj Pokharel.

During the inspection, unfinished road projects were given top priority, and Pokharel issued strict instructions to the concerned contractors to complete the work without delay.

During the field visit, he expressed serious concern over delays in road construction and directed that work be carried out in line with the given timeline and quality standards. Saying that incomplete roads have been causing daily hardship to the public, he warned concerned parties against negligence in development works.

As part of the visit, he also inspected an old age home and a women’s safe shelter in Jandol, Agnisair Krishnasavaran Rural Municipality. He directed the concerned authorities to improve the services and facilities provided to elderly residents and women staying at the shelter.

Similarly, inspections were conducted at various police posts to further strengthen peace and security in the district. During the visits, security agencies were instructed to address public concerns promptly, ensure effective service delivery, and maintain a safe environment, according to the District Administration Office.

The administration stated that such monitoring activities will continue to ensure effective implementation of development works, social services, and law and order.
