Kathmandu, March 24: Seven people have died in separate road accidents in various parts of the country.
According to police, one person died in an accident at Dhaka Border, Malangwa Municipality-4 on Monday night; another person died when a tanker hit a scooter at Nipani Chowk, Ratnanagar Municipality-1, Chitwan; and one person died when a vehicle carrying a mixer machine hit a scooter in Chumlingtar, Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality-3, Chitwan.
Similarly, a jeep driver died when the jeep met with an accident at Mudikuwa, Ward 4, Phalebas Municipality, Parbat district on Monday night. Likewise, the jeep driver and two passengers travelling on it were killed when the jeep overturned at Rausella, Adarsha Rural Municipality-6 in Doti on Monday.
Likewise, a youth has died in Tilottama, Rupandehi, after being hit by a truck today. Umesh Gupta, 21, from Butwal, riding a motorcycle, died after being struck by a goods truck in Kotihawa, Tilottama Municipality-15. The Butwal Highway Safety and Traffic Management Office stated that Gupta, who received serious injuries in the accident, died while undergoing treatment at the hospital. (RSS)
